You can apply for most of our competitive scholarships by completing our online scholarship application. This is the application for all levels of currently-enrolled students to fill out who wish to be considered for scholarships.

Financial Aid and Scholarships Office Scholarships: Only students who have also applied for admission to the University, who are U.S. citizens (or permanent residents), and who plan to enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at UMKC will be considered for our scholarships. Students must have two letters of recommendation on file by March 1st to be considered for scholarships. One letter of recommendation must be academic.

College of Arts and Sciences Scholarships: Students must have two letters of recommendation on file by March 1st to be considered for scholarships. One letter of recommendation must be academic.

School of Computing and Engineering and Henry W. Bloch School of Management Scholarships: Complete the online application by March 1st.

Note that some scholarships also require completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1st.
